Decided I wanted to upgrade the skin on my steering wheel. i picked up a used steering wheel off eBay for $300. I then shipped it to Fly Designs (a guy named Tomek) in Poland to re-skin it. (I’ve had experience with him before as he did a steering wheel for my Audi.) Anyway, he does incredible work at amazing price. Take a look at the pics below:
Here’s the new and original side-by-side. Installation was a snap after watching RedPants video.
He was able to make it about 1cm thicker in diameter. Alcantara top and bottom, red leather centering strip and silver stitching to match my interior...
I’m really happy with the result!
