mine works great with my galaxy note 8. worked work my older note 5 as well. can't see why it wouldn't work with note 10. it's likely some setting in the car or phone to allow streaming.

in my 2009 V8V, it's connected to ipod mode and each mode had a separate audio control menu.

I run an Amazon Alexa gizmo thru mine and have voice control for music, open nav, make calls, control my smart home devices and open garage door with voice control.

3rd time is a charm.

Finally after the 3rd order I have bluetooth audio for my 2014 V8V. I first ordered the Bovee WMA3000A; did not work because cable not compatible. I secondly ordered the Bovee 1000 unit itself; it would not work with an old ipod 30 pin connector cable. After my 3rd order of the Bovee 1000 with the RR integration cable the plug & play worked beautifully from my Galaxy9+. Took time & patience but I did it. Thanks everyone for the replies & feedback. Thank you Amazon for the free shipping & free returns!

Sorry to rehash old thread.

I just got the bovee 1000 for my '11 V8S and ran into same issue as dcarrer0 (paired no issues but no sound).

@dcarrer0 did you reorder the whole bovee 1000 with the RR connector or did you buy the RR connector separately? Wondering if I can just buy https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076V3TDGZ?pf_rd_p=ab873d20-a0ca-439b-ac45-cd78f07a84d8&pf_rd_r=0V12JT5QSHJJ6JRQP446]this instead of returning the whole unit and rebuying.

I repurchased online at Amazon because of free shipping and free returns. Works flawlessly now.

Looks like that won't be necessary after all!

I found an old thread that fixed the no audio issue with the current connector. If anyone is interested it's an Apple Music app trick.

Stupid question but does anyone know how to reset the PIN on the BOVEE 1000? I got a new phone (iPhone 11 Pro) and in order for me to reconnect the car to my phone's bluetooth, it's asking me for the PIN which if I remember correctly came with the box (that's long gone). Any ideas?

just installed the Bovee 1000 in my 2010 DBS
30 Pin ipod connector in the armrest already installed in the car
Bovee 1000 is a true plug and play
Seamless music streaming with full track information and steering/in dash controls all functional

Pairing took about 5 tries, iPhone 11 Pro kept showing the Bovee but would not pair had to shut down bluetooth and car many times but eventually worked.

Code is 0000

Works great non issues once paired

Ordered mine directly from https://www.viseeousa.com/ $89 (free shipping) I took it out of the package, plugged it in to the 30 pin connector in the armrest and paired it with my IPhone X. It paired immediately and works perfectly. I was looking at the AM Apple play upgrade kit but this was the perfect solution for my needs. I typically do not use the Nav screen, and I have satellite radio, so the only thing missing was all my music on my Iphone. Now I just need to come up with songs that fit my weekend drives, any suggestions?

Does the Bovee turn off when the car turns off? Is anyone aware of the battery drain on this if left in the car?

It shuts down after a short while after turning the car off.

Have not noticed a significant battery drain even when sitting for multiple weeks on end in today’s nowhere to go world. Worth noting I leave the car unlocked while in the garage which reduces battery drain over having the security system armed.

Maybe I'm lost in the sauce with my new Vantage (2007) but I can't find this 30 pin connector for an iPhone...is it under the arm rest and requires removing the arm rest? As in, you must use tools to access it because for the life of me I can't figure out whether the center console opens at all. My car does have the blue tooth indicator lights so I believe it has the Bluetooth option. It does have the Dolby Surround Sound Premium stereo option.
