I am running HRE P101 19x9 front ET40 and 19x11 rear ET52, currently running my old tires on them 245/285 but I will switch next summer to 255/295 or 305 but I don't believe that you can run a lot wider than 305 in the rear without rubbing. good luck

Is it a 6M or a SS? I didn't read the thread.

I can only speak to 6M's but turn the TC off at all times, I hate those nannies. Once you get the contact patch and/or suspension sorted it's all about how much clutch you burn, and you want to for a hard launch that stays hooked up. Dumping the clutch and roasting the tires is alot of fun but if you have a GT revving beside you and you don't want to lose, you have enough power you don't need the hole shot but you will need to hook up on a hard launch and keeping the power to the wheels just under traction loss is your goal while keeping the engine in that 5k high HP range.

Graeme,
That's EXACTLY what I needed to hear!
The difference between my 9.5x19ET62.5 rear wheels and your 11x19ET68 wheels is 25mm LESS inner clearance and 13mm EXTENDED outer clearance (25+13mm = 38mm = 1.5").
If your wheels fit with 25mm less inner clearance, then a wheel with only 18mm less inner clearance will fit too.
Unless your 11mm spacers are needed and not just to bring the wheels out to the edge of the fenders.
Ric :-)

David,
Looks like 265's on 9x19 is as much patch as the Vantage will allow.
Fortunately, they work perfectly with the 325's

265/35ZR19 Diameter: 26.3” (standard 235/40/19 diameter: 26.4”)
325/30ZR19 Diameter: 26.7” (standard 275/35/19 diameter: 26.6”)

Ric :-)

I have a set of the V12 wheels that I'll move. They were supposed to be mint when I bought them but of course, they weren't. Would be a great option for a second set though.

I know of someone who has put the stock 19x9.5" rear wheels on the front with a 275 tire. He reported they rub a little at full lock. With a spacer that may not even be an issue.

I would keep the delta of 40mm between rear and front, i.e. (275-235, 285-245, 295-255, 305-265).
If you go relatively wider in the rear, you shift the car towards more understeer.

Ric

if i'm reading this correct you will have 18mm less internal clearance & that may be enough

I was worried when we fitted the V12 wheels that the 25mm less internal was going to rub on the upper suspension arms when we lowered the car (with it in the air it was all ok but the wheels naturally "fall" away from the car - so we added the spacers

the 18mm should be ok but maybe have 1 5mm spacer on hand just in case

good luck with it

Graeme
