Why are Aston Martins so Expensive?

Pity they never took the same quality approach when they outsourced the build & inspection of the headlights & tail lights.

As I understand it, the problem with the tail lights is improper installation, not that the lights themselves are defective.

And cool article--thanks for sharing!

Then I guess pretty much all of them were installed incorrectly.

Either there are multiple workers at the factory who are incompetent, or the design is fatally flawed such that a correct install is nearly impossible. I'll bet on the latter...

Nope. Improper assembly. Blame the Canadians at Autosystems for that.
