Angry Birds!!!

Out for an early morning Sunday run in my V8V Roadster when a guinea fowl committed suicide under my left wheel arch.(at about 70mph).
Engine warning flashed on he dash so I stopped , hoping no fluid leaking from the rad or oil cooler. All fine with no visible damage to front of car.
Engine now running in get home mode but , then scanned for the error codes. Got P0101 mass/volume air flow problem (Left side)
Stripped out the wheel arch liner and found the bottom of the air box smashed--really weird as there is no damage to bodywork and even the splitter is in one piece although the lugs broke off .
Could have been a lot worse I suppose.

I guess it is time to go with those airbox delete bracket from Redpants.
