Seat module not active!!! 2012 aston martin rapide

Greetings,
i have a 2012 aston martin rapide. Today my seats both driver and passenger would not move in any direction, i drove to my buddys shop and hooked up his autel scan tool and accessed the module pertaining to the seat control. It said "seat control module "not active". As if its not getting power. I looked through my owners manual and did not see a fuse for the seat control module or the front seat controls at all! I then called the nearest aston dealer to ask if they could tell me where the fuses for the front seats were. They informed me that wasn't the issue, that my seats needed to be recalibrated and that it would have to be done by the dealer with their diagnostic equipment and that the fault i was having with the seat is a common issue. I asked them are you sure that they(seats) need to be recalibrated, they insisted that yes that was the problem. I am now, trying to see if anyone else on here has had the same issue with another rapide of the same gen as mine, and if so is there a scan tool that can be suggested that i could purchase, that could do the recalibration. Thank you for your time. I apologize for the long post i wanted to be as thorough as possible.
and no my buddys autel scan tool wouldnt recalibrate the seat module it could only connect and read the issues with the modules in the vehicle but it could not recalibrate them.

Have you tried a hard reset? Disconnect negative battery terminal. May want to verify a good battery (test while you have access to the battery).

My seats and a bunch of other stuff was all out of whack when my battery died. Dealer replaced battery, set some stuff and has been perfect ever since.
