Aston Martin DB11 Racing: AMR

Does anyone own or has driven the AMR? Is it a noticeable difference from its DB11 predecessor? Would like to hear some driver’s experience.
I just picked up a 2011 DBS (my 2nd), but the AMR has peaked my interest.

Unless limited-production Aston, they will continue to fall once production begins again in Gaydon.

Some will be coming off leases, trades perhaps for DBX, plus importantly, there will be a glut of high end used cars that rental agencies will be feeding into the market.

30 hp difference and some trim upgrade. A regular DB11 is smooth linear power, but Velocity AP tune turns it into what it should be. You have plenty of experience with the brand Im sure if you drive one you would figure something out .

There are countless tweaks done to the AMR besides the 30hp increase that become evident once you drive a standard DB11 V12 and the AMR back to back including a new subframe, new suspension bushings, new sway bars, and new electronics calibration.
The AMR is more in control of it's body motions without sacrificing any comfort and it can actually put power down to the ground. To me, it feels more closely related to the DBS Superleggera than it does to the original DB11 V12. It also sounds better and shifts smoother.

MBi is infamous around these parts
There is an optional AMR software upgrade for original DB11 V12s. Not sure of the cost though.
