Denny 6.53 is infamous around these parts
2011 v8v s

2011 V8V S SS 2 stalled at a light today. Completely dead. I have read many of the threads on Vantage
stalling issues. I had my spare fob with me and that didn't make a difference. I had the new VAP clutch
and tune installed this year along with high flow cats. When the car died, I kept trying to start it but the dash was completely off. A couple of times the dash lit up normally, but wouldn't start. Finally, it started and drove
home. I have been getting emission Cell's since the clutch was installed. Usually the regular CEL. I have also had the red triangle and a message to slow down and get immediate service. It will eventually go away.
I put my reader on the OBD2 and the only codes I am getting are misfired. I have done some coast-downs from 70mph to 30. Maybe I need more of them. On one thread a f misfire flag was mentioned. I am not sure
what that is.

Who did your clutch replacement? Are you certain the corrections were cleared to relearn. That all should be done with replacement including re-learn. Stalling and no dash lights sound like a loose connection maybe battery connection or chassis ground strap need checking first.

What you're describing is absolutely nothing like the [formerly common but resolvable with a software update] stalling issue that plagued Vantages, jsyk.

Correct in that the event is not typical of the stalling issue. My dash never went dead and it would always restart right away. But I'm not positive it's 100% resolvable either. Mine stalled many times after the software update, but, it's only stalled 4-5 times since the new engine, and [KNOCK WOOD] it hasn't stalled in over 6 months now. Coming from around 70 times a year, I rarely even think about it, although that's usually when it bites you in the **** because I'm not driving with the anticipation it will stall so I'm not mentally prepared for it if it happens making a hard left in front of 2 lanes of fast oncoming traffic.
