Key Error/DSC Service Required Issue

When buying my car, I got 3 different keys... 2 w/ the fobs and one by itself. 2 of the keys work fine, but one always gets a key error followed by a dsc service required message. It only happens with this key... and doesn't allow me to start the car. It turns the car on, but the start engine button never turns red and nothing happens when I press it to get the engine started. Looked online, and while I could find many things about the dsc service... I couldn't find anything that actually was related to the key causing that.

Be thankful that you have 2 keys that work. As for #3 it could be why you have 2 that work and its defective. Only 2 keys were provided at delivery when new.

Lol very much thankful for the 2, as many only came with one when I was shopping around. Just curious if this 3rd key even belongs to my car in that case.
