The Aston dealer quoted me $415 to take off the grill and install it again to get the grill plated (V12S) - took me 15 minutes and I can hardly screw in a light bulb, so pretty easy.

Yeah, at $415 I was shocked, because Morries Aston Martin has always been reasonable and always served me well. In fact when they switched the plastic buttons for glass ones on my 2017 V12S ski-slope it was a ton more work and hours than they assumed - I saw what they had to take apart carefully to get the switches changed, yet they only charged a fraction of the hours they spent on it. Maybe I asked when they were in a bad mood.
