New transmission fluid made a big difference on newer car with low miles!
My 2015 Vantage V8 GT just turned 4 years old, so I changed the transmission fluid to Castrol BOT 270A. The change was relatively simple. I was able to purchase the fluid at my local dealer for a reasonable price and they also provided the crush washers and o-ring for the filter. My best hack was buying a returned garden sprayer from Amazon for $15.00 and used that to refill the fluid (just take the sprayer nozzle tip off). Worked awesome!
I'm writing not to say I did the work, but to report that even on a car with only 8,500 miles and 4 years old, the transformation with the new fluid was incredible. Shifting is much smoother than it's ever been. I didn't expect any change in feel. I thought this was a $350 preventative maintenance event with no perceived value. I am blown away by the result. I'm so glad I did the change!

According to The Book, top off after 3 years or 20k miles, renew after 4 years or 40k miles.
Either way, yeah, that car was due for new fluid, so it should definitely be noticeable.
