Hi all - after lurking for a while, I bought a very clean 2007 DB9 Volante Monday in CT, and drove it home yesterday to Philadelphia. The car drove extremely well and is absolutely beautiful.

During the drive home, I had my laptop on the seat. While driving I got an airbag warning - I moved laptop case to the floor, and the light extinguished. I am not sure of the timing, but yesterday I got the "SRS System- Urgent" message in the evening. I suspect that it was due to me having the seats too far back. This message has sent gone away when I cycled it this morning. Now I have the "Passenger Airbag Off - Urgent" message. The passenger seat with not go down or up, but will go forward and back, as well as tilt.

Is this a recalibration issue?

Hi Scott,

I can't answer the question about recalibration, however on my '09 DB9 the passenger seat bottom doesn't move up and down. Just backwards, forwards and seatback tilts. Good luck with the new car.

Based on previous posts here - it really sounds like a seat recalibration issue. I am heading back to dealer where i bought car (on my way to Maine) and he said he would take care of it. Just part of learning the car idiosyncrasies. Other than that, the car is beautiful and runs really well. It is also very comfortable.

This is my dream car.

 

When my dog sits on the front seat, she trips the air bag on/off message while she tries to get comfy.
