Has anybody switched over to the sport pack tire sizes? Have you noticed any differences and any before/after pictures? Also, I'm East Coast based so looking at all season options and the best option seemed to be the Michelin Pilot Sport AS 3+ but I noticed that the tires were "XL" versions. Any issues/concerns going with an XL version of a tire for the DB9? Also, sometimes when I am going through tire selectors for the DB9 it asks if the car is 21mm or 22mm hex lugs. How do I know which one the car has without taking the lug nut off?

You need the size to remove the lug nut, It's asking what the outer diameter of the lug nut is. Early cars are 22mm (like pre 2009) later cars are 21mm.

 

I've been running the sport pack sizes for several years. No real issues -- they're about 1/2 an inch taller, so your speedo reads a bit low (maybe 1 or 2 mph).

Don't think you'd notice any difference in pictures.

 

Do you run all seasons or summer tires with the sport pack sizes? If so, which ones? Thanks!

 

I'm using Continental ExtremeContact Sport summer tires. They definitely lose some grip in colder temps.

My car is usually parked in the garage for a couple of months in the worst of winter, but it gets driven regularly the rest of the year. Early Spring and late Fall just require a bit of caution.
