Vantage v12s
Vantage v12s
Hi, recently got my vantage v12s 2017, and I wonder if the CD player is a standard equipment, because I couldn’t find the slot to insert in at all? Anyone know where it is if it comes standard, if not anyone done any DIY on adding it?
Thanks in advance

Thru Apple Car Play, the sound is great. Make sure your system has been updated for it. Also I hate the screen popping up for everything , so holding the on/off button down a few seconds lowers the screen.

Yeah, I know, but I want to plan it first.
the only problem I had within 1 year of ownership is the emission sth sth signal came on once, but was off automatically the next day at cold start.
The rest are good. My car is around 1800km on it now.

Ooops! Forgot about the early interiors from 10 years ago. I even had two of those; you'd think I'd remember the CD player. My wife was unhappy when we moved to the new dash w/o the CD, but that was long ago. What is true, however, is that AM never offered as standard or optional once the new console came out.

Do you mean the newer haptic control console? I have a '14 with a CD changer and was not aware that with the subsequent dash change one could not get a CD player. Learned something new, but in this case not completely surprising, today!

I still prefer to use cd for some music, I don’t think the Bluetooth iPhone music quality are as good( I mean the source) anyone know how to add a CD player in the car? Thanks
Also, as a warning, the stereo might on occasion not start up, or in the middle of the drive turn itself off. Another 2017 V12S owner in Minneapolis has the same problem as myself. It's not that often, but enough to be irritating. The Aston dealer claims Aston is not aware of the problem and it is hard to duplicate to demonstrate at the dealer because it's not that often, or they know of the problem (like the misting tail lights) but do nothing to address it properly.
