You thought the Vantage had a big mouth?

How about the DBS GT Zagato? Looks like it's nothing but grill.

The way the front grill opens and closes is very dramatic.

It is interesting, but it's still quite large. And you have to buy the DB4 Zagato to buy one.

Here's yours truly standing in front of the DB4. I had my Rapide on display the day of the unveiling.

I like the DB4. I don't get the marketing strategy of making you buy both though. Was that at AMOC?

It was the 1st annual Audrain's Concours Weekend in Newport, RI. Aston Martin sponsored the Friday event and AMOC sent email out to local owners to represent the unveiling. There was about 7-8 AMOC cars on display. The DBS Zagato looks much better in person than the pictures. There is no back window and gold trim inside and out is pretty cool. The gold works with any exterior color.

The event was also an unveiling for an ugly blue and yellow Bugatti and new Porsche Speedster.

Really wicked from the back

Looks like a 3rd grader colored in a Bugatti

I have an uglier Bugatti by me, it's cream with maroon just in the doors and front wings.

Or have car designers lost their minds?

Nope, It's not just you!

I agree but IMO the new Vantage takes the cake with that front.

I was selected to display my car at the Friday 'Gathering at Roughpoint', but last minute business prevented me from attending. One of the other club members was given my spot on the field (V8 Vantage Roadster in Midnight Blue, or so I was told). Can't believe I couldn't make this event; it was $500 per person but was gratis to those selected to populate the lawn with their cars. I hope that I get the same opportunity next year, otherwise it's way too pricey for me and the SO.

I wonder how many actually paid $500 for event. I wouldn't go for that price; perhaps $250-300 max after attending. Very good food, liquor and all that, but $500 is a stretch for the lawn event. I hope to be invited back too next year, but we'll have to see if AM is going to sponsor again or not. Would be a great reveal of the DBX and whatever else they that's new. Vantage Volante perhaps?
