DB0 - heated seat issue

I am having an issue with heated seats on my 2008 DB9. The red light will go on when the switch is toggled into the on position. However, the heated seats do not operate. Any thoughts / suggestions appreciated.

I had a similar issue on my 2014 DB9 that I acquired recently. The driver's side seat heater would not heat the seat even though the switch would light up. I checked the fuses (60 and 61), and they were good. While troubleshooting the issue under the driver's seat, I noticed the grounding wire for the seat heater control module which was installed as part of the Safety recall RA-01-0019, was accidentally cut by the seat track. The wire should have been routed away and zip tied to existing under seat wiring, so that it would not be in the way of the seat adjustment tracks. Once the ground wire was soldered together, the seat heater worked.

There was a recall, service bulletin, on the heated seat switches some time ago. Mine (2007) were replaced at no cost even though my car was 9+ years old as it was a safety issue.
