Other than AM's halo cars like the Valkyrie and Valhalla, they are way behind on tech with their lower end... why the hell isn't there a production vanquish out yet? Why does the interior of the new vantage already look so dated? And yes the prices dropping and very few new vantages selling shouild be a huge sign that changes in price and aesthetics need to be addressed. The car drives awesome but westerners who want Astons want an understated affordable car not some gigantic grilled pig with bling all over and doo dads on the interior.

put some side strakes and an aston grille on this 'Roma' and it is what the new DB11 or Vantage should have looked like maybe with some ason headlights... lol

I for one think that the Roma is a blatant rip off on Aston styling. But the interior is really nice. I haven't even considered moving out of my Vanquish because the new interiors don't feel special like my Vanquish does.

I agree - the previous era Astons have incredible interiors - elegant. The first time we saw a preview (special invite) to the DB11, my wife sat in it and jumped back out saying it's terrible what they did. We are both designers. She could not believe it when she saw the new Vantage and what Aston did to the brand. It's too bad Aston did not rip-off Aston's styling. What they did do was open the door to the competition. I guess if we want an Aston we will have to buy a Ferrari? Next week I have an invite to the C8 private showing, I have my name on the list, but what a car looks like in person and what it looks like in pictures is two very different things. I hope it looks as good, and it does not have that acreage of car in front feel while sitting in it like the older models. I went to see the new Supra last week also. I was curious as to see if they were as ugly in person as the pictures. Often a car might look different in pictures. Like the P1 Mclaren I did not like the look in pictures, but in person - wow. So way back in the rear of the Toyota showroom was a Supra. From every angle it's hideous. I don't get it.

Exactly the same reason I don't trade in my current (MY 2010) DBS for a newer DBSS......it is not an acceptable interior (and "old" Mercedes tech) at that price point. Let's hope they come with a interior restyle very soon (the interior of the new DBX looks much better, let's hope this will find its way to the other models very soon!).

Being a 2019 Vantage owner, I can honestly say I think the rear of the Vantage looks better but give the nod to the Roma front. Aston needs to get their act together on the reliability. My car has been a constant stream of issues.......

Dolphin face front end. No good, I guess all car designers are on synthetic drugs now days.

I am biased I am sure but the Vantage is way better in terms of looks. Plus since these are likely going to be a fair bit more expensive than the Vantage, I don't think comparisons should be drawn to begin with.

I might have someone interested in leasing a Vantage. Can you tell me the issues either here or PM?

I got to see the ROMA in person today (no drives). Overall, very nice with base $225k so probably $275-300k with options and US customer deliveries by Dec. The exterior has good and bad angles as front can look like a duckbill. Size seems between a vantage and DB11 to me as the rear seats are basically unusable. Seat position and cockpit is good as interior is the best part of the car but I would like to see a couple retro dials rather than the i-pad look. To me the DB11 AMR has better exterior look but interior is to merc like as we all know. If AM can redo the DB11 interior for 2022 MY then it will be good comp for Roma plus you get the v12 for your $300k
