When this happened to my car, I started following the fiber optic loop path and tested each module with a fiber optic bypass loop until I found the culprit.

In my case it was the AM/FM module. Luckily I found one on eBay, put my car on some jacks, removed the passenger side rear wheel liner and old AM/FM module, and replaced it with a functioning one. Problem solved!

You can eliminate and rule out pretty quickly since the path covers the head unit -> navigation -> cd changer -> am/fm module -> back to head unit (unless you have a dension like I do).

Good luck! Do some searches on here and ask more questions.

Still sounds like a bad fuse(s) in the car. My 09 has three fuse boxes...one under the hood...one in the trunk...and one on the passenger side- under the carpet and access by removing screws.
I had changed to LED bulbs and one blub was bad...blew a fuse. You would think in the trunk area...nope under the passenger side floor.
Good wishes...sorry I could not answer exactly..

Thanks Aldv checked every fuse with a meter i tend to agree with spyder997s
Wish i had asked questions first before stripping interior

Ok...try next Aston Installations in England..they are experts on radio problems and fixes. James and Lenny are both good persons.
Since I do not think a sponsor on here you must look up their website yourself.
i used them for installing front and rear cameras on my 09 vantage during Rich's.tech day in 2018 in Florida.
They will reply as decent people.
Good luck finding your solution to the problem.

It appears it is based on this picture from workshop manual. For visual see fig 33. Are you following the orange fiber optic cables?

PM me with your email and I can send the workshop manual to you if you don't already have it.

Those pictures are of a coupe
I am going to speak to my Aston dealer tomorrow or maybe just tear down the battery area
Either way will post pictures to help other members when i get ontop of this

broncoupe 01-01-2020 05:24 PM

Also on my car the Navigation Drive is positioned under the roof storage panel so the only time it is visible is during roof openning or closing sequence
I found a workshop manuel online seems to be official item
But what it doesnt do is distinguish between different models pretty rubbish really

Update
Car when viewed from back lights forward
LH Rear wheel arch metal plate 4x 8mm bolts remove this Radio Tuner and Gps reciever mounted here
RH Rear wheel arch plastic panel 4x 8mm bolts remove it Roadster roof ECU easy to open to check if dry
Not related to Radio problem just good practice
Using fibre optic loop out GPS Reciever is faulty
Now have Radio / CD / and amp working
Have stripped Gps Reciever and it looks like condensation damage causing fungus on curcit board
If you strip GPS module remove 6 screws then lift of lid
be careful the ariel connection is soldered to the curcit board so you have to gently wiggle board and pull to remove

spyder997s 01-03-2020 08:17 PM

Great work! You found the culprit! Will you replace the GPS unit?

broncoupe 01-04-2020 12:38 AM

So fault I am left with is No Navigation displayed and the Navigation Screen does not open
I am being open minded and thinking that maybe when i install the new reciever it may send a signal down the fibre optic to bring these items back online
will have the new unit monday

J doubleU 01-04-2020 09:09 AM

No pictures? I could live without the navigation. New module will get you back to normal, plug n prey.

Aldv 01-04-2020 10:14 AM

Hi...Great job figuring out...it will fix as my camera for front and rear that Aston Installations used with a new wiring haress so I can see on my GPS screen when they installed.
This is my main use of the screen...once in a great while I use the GPS.
Good luck...next find out how the water is getting into the car.

broncoupe 01-04-2020 10:53 AM

Its just a poor design and probably pot luck if you get a problem or not
The unit is not sealed and the curcuit board lacks conform coating
That camera setup sounds like the generic chinese camera interfaces you can get
