Aston Martin Vantage v8 2007
I'm trying to understand what the "red" triangle warning light means in the instruments of my 2007 Vantage V8. It only flashed on briefly then went off. I was taking a fast sweeping left curve at perhaps 45mph when the light flashed on then off. Perhaps the turn was coincidental but the light has remained off. Strangely I could not find a clear description in the Aston owners manual except "amber" triangle light suggests I check the computer message. The message does read "routine service required" but the manual shows amber triangle warning not "red." I am 6 hours away from the nearest Aston dealer! Anyone has knowledge of what the red triangle light maybe, I'd appreciate a heads up!

Red triangle warning light
For my 2012 V12 Vantage, the owner's manual states 'Warning Triangle shows red or amber depending on the warning or information priority'
Amber Warning will come on for low outside temp, also.
Not a lot of info.My guess is that this warning will be in conjunction with some other fault.
Thanks,
JH

Low coolant will also flash the red triangle. So if the coolant is just barely at the min level of the sensor, it could flash without leaving any error message. It actually also says low coolant but I had it happen to me while driving and it was so fast I only saw the red triangle. Took a couple more times before I was actually able to read the low coolant message that came along with it. Check your coolant level.
