Changing brake fluid

Question for you all...
I've seen several people on different boards say that you need the dealer to run the AMDS clutch purge routine to replace the fluid in the clutch for the ASM transmission.
My thinking is that the AMDS purge procedure mimics the "push and release" action that someone would do with a manual clutch.
However, is this actually necessary if you have a pressure bleeder like the Motive? I think the pressure it creates would force the fluid out of the clutch in any case, right? Would you still need the AMDS purge?

it actually didn't need the clutch fluid flush since they did the clutch fluid flush when they replaced clutch last fall... did it anyway
both brake and clutch flush for $200 and they also did a full microbial clean and treatment for no additional charge (I think it was a pine tree air freshener...)

i found this thread and had a question about brake fluid flush/change. i have 2015 V12 Vantage S, ASM III. I am taking it to the track soon, so i would like to flush the brake lines. i have seen Redpants tutorial on how to do it, but does it effect the Clutch reservoir? Meaning do i have replace fluid in both or just the brakes? And if the clutch for ASM III is part of this process than is it better to take it to the dealer?

I don't know about the ASM but in a Manual car there is only one brake fluid reservoir under the hood and it serves both the brakes and clutch from that reservoir so when you flush your brakes you can and should flush your clutch at the same time.

with ASM it's my understanding you have to cycle the ASM with software at the dealer. I had my whole system flushed at dealer for $200... they do a full courtesy check, topped off fluids, etc... took about 2 hours... worth it to me
