NYC Area Mechanics

Hi Team,

I'm new to the forum, wondering if anyone has experience with mechanics in the NYC area for a clutch replacement? Any info/leads/experience/pricing and who to avoid--- would be much appreciated!

thanks

There are a few dealers within the NY metro area and Long Island.

While about 80 miles away from you, there is Steel Wings in Ivyland PA - one of the best independents and specialize in AM

I have used Aston Martin Summit for warranty service and was very satisfied. Kinda mom and pop dealership which I like. Only negative is they don’t provide loaners. I would call them and Miller Motorcars in Greenwich and ask for an estimate, preferably in writing. Only other NYC area dealer I know of is AM Long Island which was slammed by a Forum member a while back.

AM Summit is a great shop... small and very personal. However, its a dealer so the prices higher than an Indy.

Avoid the Aston Martin Long Island franchise. Contact Bradan on Long Island to see if they would do the work? If you must use a dealer use Miller.
