Indy shops in Detroit area?

Hi all, new owner of a 2011 V8V here. So far it's been a joy! Does anyone here know of any independent shops with experience in the Detroit/Ann Arbor area? The car has some issues with droning/resonance in the cabin at around 3k RPM

Not aware of a Detroit area AM capable indy

Troy dealership mechanics are great, Kiel and Austin, are like friends. Known Kiel since just before my purchase, August, 2007. The dealers hourly service rate is not my friend, however.

Since the end of warranty I have been doing my own servicing including many challenges not previously tackled. Help has been provided by this Forum, Redpants videos, Stuart at VelocityAP, local hot rodders, etc. As a retiree I have time to go slow, sometimes make a mess and then consult with the "more skilled".

If you find a metro area capable AM Indy please inform us.

thanks much! I’m looking into Steve’s European in Waterford vs the Troy dealer. Did the guys in Troy do a good job with aftermarket work? I am considering changing the exhaust set up to improve the droning issues. The car currently has a secondary cat delete and VAP super sport muffler. I’d like to ultimately change the clutch to the VAP twin plate as well.
