Poor Satellite reception in my 09 Vantage Roadster

I have an 09 Vantage Roadster that has terrible skipping reception when using Sirius.
Anybody find a way to improve reception?
Thanks

sorry, i've got nothing but sympathy for you.

my two 2007 sports cars have the WORST radio reception i've ever had on any car i've ever owned. in fact, my 2001 base (very base) dodge ram 1500 with two blown speakers pulls in more stations and keeps them tuned in for longer distances the either of the expensive sports cars...by far. it's just the radio reception that is (putting it mildly) dismal. one has recently had the front windscreen with antennae installed at a dealership and the AM reception is/was nonexistent both after and before the install. it's also abysmal on the other car too. what gives? thank god for bluetooth, cell phones and i *heart* radio is all i can say.

Not sure if this will help but here goes. Check with AM to see if there is a Sirius modular unit in the car. It may bet separate from the radio and close to the antenna but 100% sure. I have a Jeep and mine did the same thing a few years ago. Just a thought. By the way my AM radio band is not working in my Vantage.
One day it was the next it wasn’t.

You also might want to verify that the coax is connected to the antenna. Often, the small coax comes disconnected from the connector making a non-existent connection killing reception.

Interesting. My FM reception is very poor even for local stations. Bad enough that there being no antenna connected is feasible!

Do you know where the antenna connections are located and how difficult it is to access them for checking?
