Found on PH, an astute poster there shared a link to this advert showing the Valhalla as well as what appear to be a refreshed Vantage and Rapide with caption alluding to AMG EV power plants.
Perhaps that was what was spotted recently with an unfamiliar sound and center exhaust?

I purchased the issue just now.
The take away is what we've heard thus far. There won't be a new in-house ICE ever again, AMG V8s will be used until the new fully EV Vantage is ready and order books open in '25 at the earliest. An EV Rapide follows as well as another smaller SUV, again EV. All new products will use a proprietary AM infotainment suite, no more MB hand me downs.

Yeah, def interesting renders. The Vantage does look like it wants to be Lotus or a Miura at the front to me, and the Rapide looks a little Bavarian. Will be interesting to see what shakes out in the end as these evolve.

Also, more on the test mule spotted from AutoCar. Better pics all around. Does look to be a new V12 Vantage.
