Optimal tone control settings for DB9 radio (non B&O)
Optimal tone control settings for DB9 radio (non B&O)
Finally had a chance to experiment with the tone control settings and wondered if anyone has thoughts on optimal settings.
More specifically this is on the 700W model on a 2015 DB9. Years ago, I found the "hidden EQ" on my 2001 Audi and from recommendations online, it became usable.
For now, I've left most everything somewhat mid-level/flat to avoid booming bass that overpowered the front stage. Although using XM as the primary source for now, I expect to try some CDs for better quality source material to tweak.
Anyone have exact bass, mid, high settings they have used with success? In addition, I've moved the balance just barely to the front stage to balance out having some bass.
Yes, the exhaust sound is nice but during some long distance cruising it is nice to enjoy musical fidelity.

In my vantage with premium sound (not basic, nor B&0) each source has its own menu for settings, so XM, streaming (ipod, usb, aux), FM each have their own settings
