Uhp tires review 2022
PS4s were tested, not the latest PS5s. Preliminary testing shows PS5 is incrementally superior to PS4 in performance.

This guys reviews is what convinced me to remove my very good condition MPS4S tires for a set of Goodyear Supercar 3's and couldn't be happier with that decision. I had been a Michelin fanboy for years and didn't even realize how mushy the steering response was on the MPS4S was until trying something different.
I am currently in the market for another car, of which a Vantage is on that short list, and will likely go with the Bridgestone Potenza Sport based on his reviews as it seems to offer the wider range of condition handling that the MPS4S has, but with much better steering feel and response. It seems that the Continental Sport Contact 7 and Goodyear SuperSport are very limited or unavailable in the US.

I have a mix of PS4S and Continental ExtremeContact Sports on my cars and I have to say that while it isn't a full apples to apples since they're different cars on different tires - I know my cars pretty well by now and I tend to like the Contis as much if not more than the PS4S. I will continue to have both going forward - will switch up to new PS5 on the Vantage and one of the 911s and upgrade my 2 that are on ExtremeContact Sport to the new SportContact 7. Side note: I hope they stick to a numbering scheme from here on out - Continentals previous tradition of just moving the words Conti / Sport / Extreme / Contact around in various new sequences with each generation has been really confusing. Look at the list of currently available Continentals for my F355 (just the high performance stuff):
ExtremeContact Force
ContiSportContact 2
ContiSportContact 3
ContiSportContact 5
ContiSportContact 5 SSR
ContiSportContact 5P
ContiSportContact 5P SSR
ExtremeContact DW
ExtremeContact Sport
SportContact 6
SportContact 6 SSR
ExtremeContact DWS 06
ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus
That's a very confusing lineup IMO.

I looked for the 'right' Conti's, but could not find them in the Vantage size, just the ECS (Extreme Contact Sport), which is a good tire... I ran it on all my AMG's... But ended up pulling the trigger Wednesday on the 4S', even through they were a couple of hundred $ more.... Hope I decided correctly....
I wish he had said something about how the Conti's preformed in comfort, which he did about the PS4's. I went to the PS4S because of the much more comfortable ride and still good performance. Sport packs on Jersey roads need something that will absorb the shock better than the Bridgestone, and they do.
Has anyone tried the yokohama advan a052? Not concerned about tread life nor driving in the rain, just best performing tire in the dry. Doesn’t look like the Michelin cup2 nor pirelli corsa systems are available in v8 vantage with the factory 19” wheels.
I have been running Continental ExtremeContact Sports 255/35R19 front and 305/30R19 rear and find them to be comfortable considering the amazing road in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (pothole capital of the world)
I can't decide where to buy tires optimally. On the one hand, I can buy universal tires from a well-known company that suits my budget. At the same time, practice shows that universal tires are inferior in quality to specialized variants. Such tires provide worse traction than winter tires and are heavier on the road than summer models. All-season tires can't be used in very cold or very hot weather. I've read a lot of reviews on this link site. But still don't know what to do.

Reviving this. Now that the PS5 appear to be making their way into the supply chain, albeit not in Aston sizes, it occurred to me that I should consider the temperature rating on the Pilot Sports vs. the stock OEM tires the Vantage came with. Anyone know the lower end temperature rating for the Bridgestone OEM set? I know I'm in central Florida so I shouldn't be concerned about the bottom end temperature rating, and I have no place to store a set of winter tires, but the specter of having to drive north around Christmas looms...Any thoughts, especially from Florida owners?
