Hello,
has anyone tried retrofitting headlights from a 2011v8vgt to an earlier v8v 06-09? One of my headlights needs replacing (08' v8v)and I saw a pair on ebay from a v8vgt for sale that look identical and are reasonably priced although used.

Same lights, nothing changed over the course of Vantage except dark inners.

Do all Vantages have HID and auto-leveling? I thought those were options.

 

I'm curious if aftermarket LED bulb replacements work on our headlamps. I performed that upgrade on my Range Rover Classic, my BMW E-39 wagon and my wife's toyota and it was a major improvement all around. Not sure if it's better than the HID but it was a very nice crisp light, especially with Euro spec lamps on the Range Rover (Cibie).

 

90%+ in the US have HID, which includes leveling. I'll bet nobody on here has regular bulbs in theirs.
