I'll wait until it gets cooler and try it again. If I can get off the line a little stronger, I may see an 11.20 but I think thats about it. The 11:41 run felt about perfect.

There is definitely a little room for improvement on the launch.

I have done over 125 runs down the strip in a similar car and the best 60 foot I ever achieved on street tyres was a 1.756. That would get you to 11.20 or maybe even slightly quicker.

 

11:20 is what I was thinking as well. It was 85 and a little humid so if I can get a better launch and on a 60-degree clear day it might happen. The car ran great, but I wish I could adjust the launch control. It launches at only about 2500 rpm and seems to bog a little off the line. If it was a manual, I would keep the revs up and slip the clutch a little but the automatic just drops rpm to around 1500 after l leave the line. I'm wide open to suggestions? Has anyone tried to launch without the launch control engaged?
