Does anyone have a recommendation for an independent mechanic in the CT MA or RI areas? I live in CT and have an 07 V8 Vantage that has developed an upper engine tick. I usually do the repair/maintenance myself but need help getting this diagnosed. Any help or advice pointing me in the direction of someone that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

 

I have used f40 Motorsports in Portland, CT. They are super nice and there are usually some exotic cars to look at. This is also the home shop for Wayne Carini from Chasing Classic Cars. Pretty cool to see him walking around like a regular person.

I have also heard good things about Glastonbury Foreign Cars (not the exact name but it's pretty close). I know of some Mercedes and Jaguar owners that swear by them.

 

The Bond Group in Waltham, MA use to be the owners of the local AM franchise before it was bought by the owners for Norwood Cadillac. They still service Aston's and I think charge less an hour. Boston Sportscar Co. in Weston, MA is generally a Ferrari indy shop, but are competent enough to handle just about anything.
