LTP13141314 is infamous around these parts

2009 DB9 Convertible Module 9G43-L53085AE

I have had my Aston Martin since 2009 and wish I could recommend buying another Aston Martin but their parts availability is so unprofessionally managed that I would never consider it. My dealer has been trying to obtain a convertible top module since December of 2022 and all Aston Martin will say is that it has no ETA. The part is number 9G43-L53085AE. Anyone have any ideas on how to get one?

Redpants shows in stock for the Vantage Roadster. I beleive they are programmable by the dealer so should work

a search on the world wide web shows Scuderiacarparts has the same for 200 USD less. Also, eBay, Aston Store (= Nicholas Mee UK, very reputable) and others pop up when searching 9G43-L53085-AE. Good luck!

Unfortunately Scuderia Parts checked with the factory and the part is still not available. On a major backorder. Wow. It's been a year for me. Very disappointing manufacturer support.
