Been a little cold in Michigan to work in the garage lately, but getting close with the bumper. Working on flattening out the curve in the DBS bumper to match the Db11 hood. When the body lines match at the wheelwell the nose gets compressed leaving the grille too tight in the upper corners. So a little slit here and a little slit there and getting closer. Once the bumper and grille fit as well as possible I will work on securing it all and retrofit my undertray.
Curious how the UK project might be similar or different with it being the V12. As stated previously, upper flange on DBS bumper is wider, thicker, and more curved than the DB11 bumper flange. Not sure, but I believe the hoods may be slightly different between the DBS and DB11.
Grilles and splitters pretty easy to source on ebay, US bumper probably only thru AMbits at reasonable price, dealer 3k. Buying DBS bumper support(600ish) only adds 1 screw hole for support I think, so not worth it to me.
So far, 1700GBP for bumper and 2 mesh pieces, 500GBP for grille, and 425 dollars for splitter, all shipping included. Splitter cracked in 3-4 places which I repaired and refinished to good enough for me, grille perfect as well as bumper and mesh. Plan to be done by mid March if the golf trips don't hold up progress. Not concerned about resale as 07 V8V has 142000 miles and 90 Twin turbo 300ZX had 139000 miles. Can't afford or handle real DBS and love everything about the DB11 except the weak chin. Can't wait for DB12 to depreciate and while front end is better, still not as nice as DBS. Don't need the latest and greatest as it will only be that for a couple years.
All the alterations to the bumper are complete and is ready for paint. Able to use same air ducts and undertray with repositioned attachment points. Brackets made to support lower front bump
er. Lots of slicing and cutting to straighten bumper attachment flange to align with the hood and body lines. Needed to reduce material from upper corners of grille and bumper due to constriction. DBS front is wider and body lines rounder that DB11 I believe. Can't see alterations with everything in place. So almost there.

Hi AstonMan, tried heat with no results. BTW, first ever attempt at bodywork, so everything was a wing and a prayer. DBS bumper has a much thicker internal skeleton than DB11 which made flexing difficult. My approach was to remove a fair amount of the inner skeleton and put 3 slices in the flange that attaches to the mounting bolts on the headlamp base. Wedged plastic into the slits until I achived adequate straightening of the bumper to the hood line. That upper flange had to be narrowed, new holes placed and then I reskinned it with ABS to keep the changes in place and cover the hacking.
