07 Vantage Rear Lights

Hello, I am a fairly new owner of an 07 Vantage, and haven’t had to troubleshoot any problems, until now.
None of the lights in the rear driver side (US) taillight assembly are working. No running lights, brake lights, turn signals, etc.
Since none of the lights in the assembly are working that tells me that it most likely isn’t as simple as replacing a bad bulb.
Before I start working through things I thought I would first ask here to see if there is a common issue that causes this?
Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Unfortunately, there is no way to replace a bulb on the Vantage taillights. Each unit is a fully sealed system of individual LEDs. Some of the more tech-savvy among us have been brave enough to oven-bake the units, split them open and replace individual LED strips (and there are a few vendors on eBay who offer that service). But typically any error in the lights is only fixable by replacing the entire unit. I did this myself when my right rear turn signals stopped working two years ago. An easy but expensive fix.

That said, there are a few other considerations.

First, the fact that ZERO lights are working would indicate to me some sort of connection issue, rather than an LED issue. Have you inspected the male/female plug or loom? If not, remove the lamp from the vehicle to take a look. It might be a simple fix.

If that's not the problem, check your fuse box. The passenger footwell fuse box F46 is for the light switch, F79 is rear lamps. There may be a broken or disconnected fuse.

Additionally, are you seeing any warning lights/messages on your dashboard? Typically, when there's an issue with the LEDs, you will see a corresponding warning message.

Good luck diagnosing the problem, and keep us updated.

Thank you for your reply.
i got back around to digging in to it, and my initial report was wrong.
The turn signal is working, the tail light and brake light are not.
I checked the plug at the back of the unit and I checked the fuses.

I have no warning lights or error lights on the display.

You can either send it off to England to get it fixed, or buy a new one. Unfortunately I don't know of any places in the US that does the fix.

Depending on which side it is, I have a known good clear, and a known good red. But I don't have a full set of known goods for either that are complete. which side and what color are you having trouble with? We may be able to figure out a fair solution if I can help. The lights I have are from my previous 07, which is no long with this world. I certainly wouldn't ask what Scuderia or the other parts places want for a single light.

I want to make sure that I am using the correct term.
I should have said tail light instead of running light.
The tail light that lights up on the rear of your car when you turn on your headlights.

I have the rear turn signal working, but no tail light and no brake light.

Thank you for the offer.
It is the (American) drivers side, so standing behind the car it is the left side.

My Vantage is black, and the tail light unit is a dark tinted red.

Just the left side.
The right side is working fine.

I think that the red I have for the left is not working, but if you want it to experiment with, I'd be willing to let it go for not much. Its not tinted. I would have to dig it out of my storage unit, but it's clean and came off at around 30K miles

Thanks.
Let me research my options a bit more and I will get back with you about it.

Speaking of tail lights: I noticed my driver's side tail light is not lighting on when I turn the switch on, but they will come on after 3-4 minutes...
Any idea what that could be?
