I might have been misunderstood in my first reply. I use only Chevron gas which has techron in it in the correct concentration. So, I do not need to add it except once a year.

This is the Techron I add yearly, even then only half a bottle split between two cars:

ok ok, i see now, thnak you! i got the regular one instead and will give it a try i have seen this one too. thanks!

The one you have is still Techron but not the same strength as the concentrate. Both do the same thing.

Best,

Best,
yes i understood that and i understood you used this one once a year but i thaught you were using the one i bought at every tanks, Giovanni at the warranty will get an heart attack reading us....lol i am joking he was a cool guy to talk to. i used unleaded 98 gas all year long otherwise. while they were checking my car with the warranty when i said i used it one time they updated all O2 sensors directly to run their tests, (lambda1, lambda2 tests or i am wrong?) you know. it was pretty serious for them.

you guys know which o2 sensors i can buy if i want replace them later on? if the alternatives for the db9 will fits the rapide too?
there is 2 kind to get? oh i see its maybe one part only now, i already bought the tool for 6 euros to remove them.
dy1401 sensor these ford sensors are 50$ each now.

during my battery change and since the battery pole/clamp is like 1 mm from the top bracket, i am wandering if i am not missing this red plastic rubber that goes on top of the positive, should it be on any battery? i did spray some copper grease on both poles.
AD4314227AB TAPA DEL TERMINAL DE LA BATERÍA €2.13 not sure if its this part it look so much like the battery protector pole that comes with the battery which you threw away? i am unsure its what i need....

Techron comes in two size bottles; last time I checked, they both state that you’re to drive the car till it’s nearly empty, then pour-in entire container & fuel-up.

Smarter guys than me (that’s a large group!) have told me Techron is The Best additive for injectors, et al.
In USA, it’s found (only) in Chevron & Texaco.

thanks William, my bottle will arrive in august 17th ....damn but the car started super well this morning and i have not driven it yet, very glad, she dislike the 5 meters trip once but i did it 3 or 4 times consecutivly.....not good on a 2012 v12 better on a db11...it was raining yesterday, no rain and no sun for my car lol i don't leave it parked more than 20 mn and in the shade you know and it has helped a lot for the interior too. i got twice vandalism here and the rodent damage 6k euros i paid to learn. finally i think i can do 5-6 k kms with the pirelli not 4k like i as thinking or this time i took it more easy. i will order the p zero pz4? next. to give them a try, not the reg p zero. m getting ready to change the coolant my wood beam is at the carpenter, then will go to the metal wroker ,a newer one caue other 2 metal worker around kept my stuff 3 months without doing anything, normal here. so let see how long it will take me this time ( the intents is important, if you find a wall in front of you each time, its continuying to intent, the important!) . then i will go under the car again but this time with the oak beam reinforced. it be a 12 cm oak beam and 3 cm thick pine to alert you, it advice to do these wood stands for cars in pine, cause its noisy before cracking, it alerts you, while the oak will break sudenly, but in my case the oak will be reinforced not to crack and if it does the metal will retain it easily and a peice of pine wood underneath will speak out hopefully if something goes bad but it be reinforced by the metal walls too.

sorry for what i said earlier using the NY helicopter accident as an example to describe something,i knew it was not great doing so but i wanted those to read to get the point. what can be said to the famillies there is no words, this could have been avoided probably, that if there is a parralele world and something after death that they recover and tthat they find the best for them. nobody told me nothing its just me. i got such big intuitions lately, and not watching the tv for years, only youtube sometimes has taught me lot of things indeed.

tomorrow a day at 38 degrees here (only like 3-5 days a year like this) , in the sun its probably 50 degrees, while its only 25 today in the shade, one day it went upto 56 degrees celcius and the termometer melted.

maybe the dealer at that time of the damage, i updated the battery witha towing company and no power, and due to the damage they had to redo the misfire procedure.

hopefully the beam may allow me not only to remove the under tray, but maybe to access the air filter box without removing the wheels, but just the triangle liner at the boyou will feel secure ttom maybe enough to reach out, this will be a big win cause thre beam is the minimum height to work but you will feel secure, .
so first i lift the car on 4 jacks, i drain the oil, then i set it on only 2 front beams i will have 29 cm clearance on the front maybe enough to do everything. i am planing to forget the 7th screw of the air box, avoid it, so i wont even have to remove the under tray but will do it every 2-3 years anyway to check it out.

not sure if i can access the air box with the wheels on the beam we will see. i will confirm. it be fast without the under tray to remove if it works, i just have to remove the triangle liner, i lnow one person has done this using a ramp. i may not have the hight he had through but maybe i can manage it, so this beam will allow me to do a complete service. i will also reinforced the zip lock bag at the bottom of it, to pull the oil filter out, with some tape at the bottom so i should not need to remove the undertray each time.

Tashakes is infamous around these parts
I use SeaFoam in my tank about once a year. I actually have proven results, I was getting a CEL code (can't remember which) that was related to ignition (coils, plugs, injectors). I moved the coils around and still was getting the error on the same cylinder, so I moved the plugs around. Same error, same cylinder. So now the injector. Before removing the injectors, I gave the SeaFoam a try to clean them, and that worked, almost 3 years and the code has not come back. So I highly recommend it.

Going off down memory lane… The e24 was such a lovely, beautiful car. Some irony that it was badged M6 in the US but M635CSi elsewhere and you guys got a de-tuned motor and soft suspension. I remember the old forums where US folk were forever annoyed with getting de-tuned BMWs. How things have changed. …ending memory lane.
Some nostalgia:

The other four do not fail as much according to my mechanic. I'll replace them at some other point

ok i see so its a good trial, i feel like its me in a little time....so i am interested to know the results.
ask him to clean the maf sensor too no? i paid 80 euros for both new myself, didnt updated them yet.
maybe he has done that for you already, we need a special torx witha hole inside to get the maf screws out. i bought some ,otherwise you will ruin the screws. is it safety torx? its called?

I use Techron or GumOut High Mileage.

They both have the same active ingredient, PEA.
