I always see a few in stock at the show rooms, so I do not there is a problem to get one unless you want it build to specs

If you want to order a car 2-5k is the normal rate.

Should always be refundable.

Deposit should not be over 5k unless you are ordering something strange that the dealer may have trouble selling if you decline to take the car.

I would agree with that being a non-superficial car enthusiast who really enjoys cars and driving, but for the average AM buyer, it's all about looks and exclusivity...

Looks are hot and exclusivity certainly is a big step above Porsche.

Car for car, a GT3 for the same price is a MUCH BETTER BUY!!!

As a owner of a 07 AMV8 and a 997 Turbo, I like the performance of my AMV8 better, since I am 6'5" the 997 'fits' me better. The Aston is much sexier also, Porsche's still look the same boring self

I am in 100% agreement about the GT3 over the Vantage, but if the whole Aston thing matters more, I completely understand.

what color is your vantage? I live in Newport though I havent been home too often in the past year and I have only seen a black one with aftermarket wheels and a maroon one. They are still more rare then I had imagined they would be, especially in Newport.

on topic, I think my dad had to put a $5k deposit on his.

Here's mine 2007 AMV8, classy not trashy

Although I may want out of it, doesn't fit my 6'5" frame as much as I like, have DB9s on order, it has all options except battery conditioner and heated front shield, sticker 126,900 not including the $900 transport from Aston Martin Seattle; would take 122,900 right now, only has 160 delivery miles (and two trips to dinner ) and still on MSO, Meteorite Silver/Black w/ fine Grey stitching to match the Meteorite, PM if you and or your dad is interested, save some money off MSRP and drive it this weekend, Richard

PS I am aware of the black one locally, haven't seen the maroon one, I know of one other Meteorite Silver one, a gentleman had it down the street from me, but I think he took it so his summer home in CO

Nice color choice, I haven't had the pleasure of viewing it in person, but I believe there are some pictures of a like vehicle floating around somwhere on this site.....He must have an 2006 model if he got i back then, any troubles with it? I originally had a May 2006 delivery, but after I was pushed back to June I decided to move my spot to the first delivery 2007 model, I received it via Aston Seattle in Oct 2006.

It's a bloody shame it only has 160 miles, but if I want the DB9s it would be silly to register my AMV8 and put miles on it. I believe as it sits it should be more marketable now that I want to try to get out of it.
