After seeing the thread regarding the new S5, I am very interested in finding out more information. Where can I find more pictures and information on it? When is it available? Pricing? Are it's figures comparable to an M3?

I sold my M3 about 3 months ago, and I need a new daily replacement. Nothing has fit the bill perfectly yet, but this seems like it may be a great option.

Any links or info would be great!

Looks like a fully loaded one will be about $56,400 before tax etc. I'd say performance wise it is quite comparable to the E46 M3. E46 M3 might be a hair faster, but the S5 will have a nicer interior and more modern looks (don't get me wrong, the e46 is a great looking car). This is audi's new platform so it has the engine further back for better weight distribution.

 

eh, actually, should be around 58K for everything. don't forget the gas guzzler tax of 1300. bit different than e46 M3, at least to me after I drove it. didn't have that same "edgy" feel, instead it just felt planted and composed, even at 130mph+ (homestead, turn 1 into infield). turn in/response was excellent, LOVE the sound of the engine. next to the RS4/R8 it's Audi's best. I think that once the mags do some heads up comparo's people will be pretty suprised at what the car is capable of.
