It's a nice car, i test drove one with a friend who is looking to buy one last Sunday. I was impressed so i asked to drive it for a few blocks. It's a bit of a confused car really IMO but will be a great DD without a doubt.

I drove a S5 last weekend at the Audi Driving Experience up at Sears Point. While I didn't think the handling wasn't as good as the E46 M3, it did drive ALOT better than I expected! The manual gearbox and how nimble the car is was a surprise. The engine had alot of potential but unfortunately one of the drivers in the S4 behind the leader wasn't fast enough to make my 2 laps interesting.

The big payoff was getting a few hot laps in with the pro racer/instructor in the R8. The grip through the carousel was impressive.

I traded in my m3 for my S5, handling on the m3 is better. Just one mans opinion, but there is no question. And as for "feel handling wise"...608TTS I don't think you could possibly be more wrong. There is no chance, as in ZERO shot, that the feel through the steering wheel is better in the S5 than the m3. With all that said, you should see how M3 owners gawk at my ride .
