Just recently my b7 s4's front suspension started to make a weird squeaking old suspension sound whenever I go over a speed bump or over potholes. I talked to my dealer and he said that the suspension is fine and the technician compared it to another s4 and he said that the sound is normal do any of you guys get that old suspension sound. My s4 only has around 30000 miles? And my dealer does not want to fix it because the sound only comes when you go over speed bumps. And then the service guy called Audi main office and they said speed bumps are not normal driving condtions so they will not cover it under warranty. That really makes me angry.

 

i have a B5.5 Passat, i have teh same issue, mine had 135K but it started makign that same noise at about 90K.. It only happens in "Cold Weather"... I havent had it cheaked but i looked around on Vortex... and it seems to be the "Sway Bar Bushing" which needs to be Lubracated... It does not bother me much so i just let it be... No noise in Warm Weather...

Had them Lubracate the Bushing or have them replaced with Poly Urethane...
