Ordered an R8
So I ordered an R8 this week.

Here are the specs:

Phantom Black
Lava Grey sideblade
black leather/alcantara interior
Deviating color stitching via Audi Exclusive
Alcantara headliner
Premium pkg
Nav
Bang and Olufsen sound system
R-tronic tranny

I'm considering changing to 6 speed tranny, but I have time to change it. The car won't arrive until about a year from now unfortunately.

Gonna be a long wait.

Congratulations, the wait is a killer and you should start watching every R8 video in youtube thats what I used to do when ordering a car I tend to watch the video's,read reviews etc.

R8? Or the new R8 with the V10 motor. I was under the impression that people COULD NOT get an Audio R8 for quite a long time....

There is an R8 in Milwaukee with an early Spring delivery time which is NOT spoken for. It's from the same dealer which I got my S5 from.. Lemme know if anyone is interested.

The ones that are available for immediate delivery have huge mark ups attached to them. If you want to order one with your exact specs and only pay MSRP, you have to wait.

I should have ordered a year ago, but that's life, eh? Still think it will be worth it though. But I def am thinking about picking up something else to tide me over in the meantime...

Hang in there! I'm sure it's worth the wait. I agree with you that you should order exactly how you like it.

I'm half way through my much shorter wait (6 months).
