placing an order for the v12 r8...is it possible?
Any information on when we can start putting down deposits for the upcoming v12s?

Check with your local dealer. If it's anything like the V8 R8, they will be in short supply and getting your hands on one will be very difficult w/o a previous relationship with the dealer.

You can always put a deposit...
Note that the TDI is still in 'concept' phase...
Unfortunately, I am pretty sure styling will change before final release (usually they tame things down)
