Pics are from the Audi Forum (the courtyard between Audi's HQ and museum) in Ingolstadt, Germany... car is owned by Micheal Dick, Audi AG Board Member for Development. Appears to be paying tribut to the Audi R8 Le Mans race car of same Gulf livery (see pisc below).

I do like it, and I love his enthusiasm. Might look better w/ black wheels, though.

I admit its a tough sell given the TT doesn't have the same heritage as a Ford (via the GT-40) or Porsche (via the iconic 917K) might...

Looking elsewhere...
