Just bought a RS4 Conv. Car is amazing. One of the smoothest cars I have driven in a long time. However when you want to play no problem.I'll take an Audi over a Lexus anytime.Lexus makes great cars but they have no soul.0- 60 #s mean ****. People who understand cars know what I mean. Today there is not a big difference in acceleration in the high end performance cars. To me the feel of the car is more important.Porsche is a great example. There are faster cars but very few are better balanced.Thats why there are so many Porsche owners.Miss my Porsche. Will look to get one in the summer time!!!

the lexus is too boy racer to me... lexus really screwed up in my eyes.. I see them selling a bunch the first year to all the die hard toyota boys but after that they are going to sit. The lexus demographic isnt into the whole fast and furious scene that the IS-f attempts to capture.

I would agree, it is very very boy racerish, if that is a word. I am twenty years old and I thought hard about getting one. It seems like a fun car till I went to the dealership, which used to be owned by a good family friend, and the salesman told me that only 500 will ever be made and I would have to pay a lot over MSRP. This is after the dealership basically laughed at me when I walked in asking about the car. It is not like I drove up in a Yugo in faded jeans and I T-shirt. I had come from school down the street from the dealership and was wearing a very nice suit driving a fairly nice car (highly modded BMW E46)

Needless to say that after that horrid example is salesmanship, or lack there of, I went to Dustin Smith (user name:GossettPorsche) at Gossett Motor Cars and was actually treated with respect. I spoke to several different salesmen there are drove several different cars including the Audi S4.

The S4 was a much better car for me. Classy, yet fun on the autocross course.

Sorry to bore you, but that is the story of my attempt of entertaining the thought of Buying another Lexus, already have a modded '96 LX 450 for off-roading and hunting.

It's too bad you had that experience there. I look young(er) also, and have gotten not so great service at dealerships when inquiring about new vehicles. Its ashame that it works out like that. Oh well, their loss...

On the other hand, overall my Lexus dealership has some of the best customer service.

Guess what the AUDI R8's EXHAUST TIPS ARE NOT CONNECTED as well as other exotics. I agree the styling is not very safe but I think Lexus had to attract some attention with their first "F" car.

After driving the IS-F at Moroso, it is a true competitor to the fabulous RS4, I couldn't believe it. It sounds just as fabulous, when you floor it, the dual intake really gives it a great soundtrack.

Michelin PS2s+Brembos and tighter suspension= I will say the rear only has 255 rears so its easy to overpower.

Also, if you track the car, you might want to get the IS-F without the sunroof.

Are you sure the R8 tips are face, and what other exotic has fake tips? The only other car I have hear of doing this is the new Lexus LS series.

Also, I completely agree about the 255 rears, just as with the C63, If you widen the front fenders, you need to widen the back fenders also and put some bigger tires on. I think both of these cars, the C63 and the IS-F, look strange with the aggressive front and the normal back fenders.

When was the last time you were at a toyota forum and they were blasting euro cars. Probably never.. Hell even honda fans pay respect when due. Many of you are basing ALL of your opinions on sheets of paper and what YOU think looks cool. I bet 95% have never driven these cars let alone owned one for a year and paid it's actual upkeep.

on a track the IS-F will beat the RS4 hands down... I can't wait for the comparison between IS-F, M3 and RS4

but the IS-F ain't much to look at... the RS4 is what you want as a daily and occasional track car... especially if your mixing with snow... its got soul!
