AWE ? and I dont want to spend $10k for a built trans.....

You can do stage 3 minus (k04's with special chip, but with stock fueling) without upgrading your tranny.

If you want the full blown RSK04 kit, you should upgrade.

Yep, its a stage 3 minus. He plans on going all out though and getting a new, stronger torque converter.

Can tell you first hand...The AWE kit is VERY well sorted. Huge respect to a company that's doing it right.
