You remember the first few years of the E46 M engine, right? I wouldn't touch an M3 for at least 2.5-3 years after introduction.

 

S4 is so much more sexier than the M3 especially the DTM. The M3 cant compete with the ultimate package of the RS4, if your going to get something faster get the RS4.

RS4 420HP/317lbtq 4 Wheel Drive, Recaros, 8 Piston Brembos, Widebody, Great Tranny 3800lbs, 8250 RPM Redline, etc..
M3 420HP/295lbtq 2 Wheel Drive, Ugly Interior, Terrible Brakes, ugly exterior, ok Tranny, 3750lbs, 8300 RPM Redline, etc...

Of course i am biased to the RS4 b/c i own one but whatever

 

I would say go with an RS4 you can get a big discount and they have 2.9% on them right now.

 

the new m3 is better in every single way compared to an s4.. except for interior..

 

I just checked again, no bluetooth for the new m3.... Price is still a bit high and especially for new bmws i would wait, i've heard a lot of stories 1st year bmws failing after a few months use... Plus i still enjoy my car, and also im gonna wait for the new dual clutch review of that car..... Hope is not jerky. As for the RS4, I checked around and the prices are still around 60sh

 

This is why i am not gonna leave my s4 for an m3 hahaha

 

so what exactly is different? looks the same besides the front lip, wheels, and tips. anything else that i am missing?

 

The front lip has a carbon fiber, at the back the small wing is carbon fiber... Since my car is black is kinda hard to see the carbon fiber. I have to say it looks pretty different compared to normal s4 hahaha

 

Keep the s4 and wait till the M3 comes down in price... The difference in the two is not worth it imop. In the mean time, grab some BBS wheels or something to hold you over. Can never go wrong with some LMs or such

 

like someone said, never buy a first year bmw. a friend made that mistake by purchasing one of the first rounds of the 335i made and imported to the US, and im sure most of you know about the fuel pump issue.

That S4 is nice and clean, keep it for a while. my 2 cents.

 

S4, the M3 is a great car but I prefer the Audi's looks.

 

definitely get the E92 M3, they can be had for below MSRP now, many dealers are discounting them. S4 can only be compared to 335... M3 is in a different league. unless you need an awd, i'd definitely go with M3

 

Only slightly off topic, but is the RS4 getting a facelift for 09 like the A and S4? I'm considering switching from my Cayman to an RS4.

 

They havnt even launched B8 S4 too, and I heard they will use V6 turbocharged

 

I just test drive RS4 today, wow, i hav to say its totally different compared to my S4.... Now i just need to find a dealership around bay around that will allow me to test drive e92 m3.... Any thoughts where can I test drive 1?
