My RS4 is an MY2006 and comes with the Concert head unit. I'm looking to get it upgraded to the RNES (?) navigation version so that I can play MP3s and use the navigation functionality along with BT phone support, but I do not know if this is possible and what the estimated costs are.

Has anyone here tried this switch yet?

Literally EVERYTHING that you'd need to know to convert to the Navigation in the Audi's.

6months ago, I swapped out my SymphonyII to the RNS-E... just get the hardness and everything is pretty much plug & play. People on that forum can answer pretty much any questions you would have, or issues you run into.

Only issue I had, was my old phone (Samsung A900) was not recognized with BT and not pairing.... so I fixed that problem, by buying a new phone. Now it pairs perfectly.

I got mine to hook up but I'll tell you it gets weird sometimes...It doesn't ring from the speakers and when it wants it disconnects...???...and then there's the buzzing noise before a call comes in...
