Which? Mk I that was available in '03? Or the newer Mk II available now only in Europe?

Also, I'd recommend going over to Audiworld.com and RS6.com. I think there's also an RS246.com forum. Plenty of pictures in the RS6 sections. Not as much action here on these.

How is the Car treating you? John

 

Superb car. Best all-round car I've owned, and I've owned a bunch. HIGHLY recommend it. VERY confident and docile in all weather conditions. I only wish the steering provides more feedback. Sounds good. Looks good. Drives well.

Has lost a lot of blue book value, though, and the maintenance is expensive. It eats brake rotors and pads (3rd set of rotors just went on at 50K). Decent gas mileage. If anything breaks, it's hugely expensive. So, do not own this car without a full warranty.

Getting a bit dated. The seats and NAV that came to the US weren't as good as what was offered in RoW. Issue with the DRC, which is a common problem. Repaired, but just waiting until it fails again. DRC was a poorly-tested system and shouldn't have gone on the RS6 until it had more development, if ever. The RS4 has the second gen DRC on it, and they're having problems with that, too. So, maybe it's just a bad idea, period.

Anyway, I love it.
