Potential Rs4 owner and some questions.

Looking towards purchasing a used rs4. Wanted to know what kind of tires people can recommend for the upcoming winter? How well do the stock tires perform for regualr daily use in minimal snow? Also have read some reviews on the brake pads and rotors having problems, any suggestions as for as replacing for better parts?

Thanks

I've never had to drive mine in any snowy conditions.

with ~25k miles I haven't had any brake problems.

Tires - which stock tires are you talking about? i know the 2008 RS4's use Continental ContiSport Contact 3

Brake Pads/Rotors - I havent had any issues with that yet.. but alcon makes a better big brake system.

No summer tire will work even in light snow, you will need to get some all-seasons or better yet a more dedicated high-performance snow tire (but still good on dry/wet and high speeds) like the dunlop winter sport m3d's.

.

I understand, i will have to make sure to get an all season tire. Additionally i beleive the rotors on the 2007 model wore out quickly.

Im thinking of making a move on a higher mileage rs4. Any suggestions or recomendations.

What kinda of options should i look out for ill be getting a PPI done as wel.

I dont think buying a higher mileage rs4 is a good idea.
