Price check on 07' RS4
Hey guys,
I am contemplating selling my 2007 RS4. I bought it new and it is Daytona Grey Pearl w/ Black interior, fully loaded, with only 4400 miles. Not one ding, scratch or scrape. Absolutely MINT! Only upgrades are the CF splitter and the STASIS Motorsport coilovers . I don't get to drive it as much as I though I would.
I am just looking for a price check on what the car is worth if I sell it outright. Thanks for any information you guys can provide.

This is going to sound cruel, but you'd be right around 45K...
Second hand, not CPO'd and with dealers practically giving the things away...

I don't know where your getting your pricing from but I don't see any for sale for that low anywhere...

ApeelinZ,
I would say your probably in the mid 50s or so. 45k is VERY low for a 2007 RS4. From original price that would be a 40% discount for 4k miles and 1.5 years or so. I haven't seen them sell for that price. Given nervousness in the economy I guess its possible for anything, however I still think mid 50s is about right. There is currently one for sale similar to yours in the forsale section for about 59k.

low 50's to sell. Just because they are priced at 55-58 doesn't mean it is selling at that price. For mid 50's no one is going to bite. New ones are sold at dealerships for 10-12 off since I am in the market for this car which brings the msrp down to 61-64.
If you are serious about selling, then low 50's to high 40's. If you want to keep a bunch of guys come and see your car and give you offers that you think are lowballs. Then high 50's.

Thanks guys! I appreciate the more realistic responses. I was thinking 52-57k range myself. Good to know. Thanks again!

I've been looking for a used RS4 for the past few weeks, well it is one of the cars I'm thinking about. Most of the ones I'm seeing are in the mid to high $50's.
If I could find a low mileage 07 in the mid $40's, I'd be all over it.

Riverside Audi in NJ has 3 of them for 48900 I beleive 8k,18k and 26k miles Sprint or Yellow
misc. others listed as well . Good luck

The Yellow one that has 8k miles doesn't have the premium package and its yellow (which is still hard to sell on a sedan). AppelinZ's car has half the miles, loaded and a more desirable color.
I still say you can look for mid 50s, maybe low mid 50s but 45k is too low.
Good luck on the sale...

i think you ask 55k given the car's condition and hope for something at 50k or higher...the market just totally sux right now for obvious reasons. darn, sounds like a sweet car, wish i was able to be in the market right now. i've decided that my 8 year old m5 is looking better and better...

Here is what the Manheim wholesale market is saying: Does not really matter what people are asking only what the vehicles are selling for.
Probably looking at $53K - $55K.

Brand new 08 untitled RS4s are still available at dealers. And they are selling from $60-62k. Brand new. That is just a fact. So to suggest that an 07 could be sold for a few thousand less is (sorry) silly. The posts with asking prices are just that...asking. I would think that because of the low miles on this car (4400), $50k is about right. The average RS4 buyer is just not going to buy a used 07 car to save only $3-5k over a brand new one. Unfortunately, the dealers are giving these cars away. I seriously considered buying another new one because of how cheap they have become...decided to go with 03 RS6 instead.
None of my business, but why sell? I love the RS4 and in my opinion you have the best color combo. The only reason I got the RS6 was to have a little more room (kids) and auto tranny (traffic). I love it, but still not quite as much as the RS4.

I've been watching pricing of RS4's religiously for two months. There's a loaded, mint 2007 with 10k for $45,500 in PA on cars.com, it's Daytona Grey Pearl. $48-53k seems to be the sweet spot right now. I guess it depends on how quickly you want to sell. There was one gentleman on 6speed that had an Ibis White with 5k that he was asking $54k and sold it in a matter of days/weeks. That was an incredibly rare car in a very desirable color.
There are a few examples on this board that have been for sale for quite some time. The same cars can be seen on Autotrader/Cars.com/Ebay that were there a month ago or even longer. The prices have dropped considerably.
For comparison sake, there was a 2008 M3 sedan that had >3k that was for sale at $49,900 in California. It was red, very sharp car.
