2008 RS4 "used" Price Question

A guy local to me has a 2008 RS4 coupe for sale. It has 1,400 miles. It has the Audi Executive package and every option. His asking price is $62k. Seems high to me but this would be my first Audi so I do not know the market. Any thoughts? Thank you in advance.

Good question. I just checked. MSRP was $77,585. Includes Premium package, Aluminum package, Limited Exclusive Package. Autobahn, wheel and dent protection were purchased above that price. Car is red - very similar to Porsche Guards Red. Super bright.

That seems about right for an '08. I've seen them from $59-62k. I'm sure the car will depreciate significantly in a short while, just like the 2007's. I would just pick up a 2007 for $50k myself .

Excellent point. I am going to expand my search to include 2007s.

x2, but with the front seats in a reclined position the back seat sure does feel like a coupe

and to the OP seems like a decent price, not great and not terrible. It sounds like it has a special order package on it, because if I remember correctly there is a special package including a bright red color and black/red interior, I'm a big fan personally,

but if you're not in love with the color/ interior (assuming it is that package i think it is) then you would be better off looking for another one as you will likely pay a little more for this one and what's the point on paying extra for a color combo you dont really like.

Best of luck to you finding an RS4

I just test drove a 2008 RS4 with the special package and red/black interior. That car is just ridiculous - particularly with the S mode on. I'm a big fan....may trade my 997S in for it.

Looks like they are hurting to sell it though. I think the car is not priced right at high 70s....but that's just my opinion. I agree with the poster who suggested looking for a 07 for $50k or less.

By "coupe", do you mean RS4 Cab? There was a Red/Black RS4 Cab floating around at a similar price lately... Very good buy if it's a cab!
