I'm looking into purchasing an new Audi. Its between an A3 or an A4, BUT if its an A4, I want an A4 Avant. I know it seems silly but I definitely want a hatch. I've always had coupes so getting a 4 door sedan is not an option for me. As weird as it sounds, getting a wagon is completely different even though it is a 4 door.

So I was wondering for those have A3s or A4s, what are the pros and cons your car? Would you trade your car for the other?

I have 2 complaints about my A4 Avant - don't like the seats and wished I had Xenons. My teenagers don't like the back seats.

Read your post on another thread. 35 miles? Really? What shame. I guess driving to LA from the bay wouldn't be an option. I've drove my friends A4 but not an avant yet. I really don't want the sedan especially since there's no 6 speed manual available. Did you get the sport package btw??

 

All I can say is - I get lower back pain from the Audi seats that are in my Avant - I've had numerous BMWs and my Turbo - no issue. The model I have is a base with premium package. I have been in a RS and a S .. no issues.
