So this is what I've decided with the help from a local shop...

Febi B6 S4 complete control arm kit - does not contain stern adjustable control arms though. $640
Bilstein sport shocks - $600
Labor for install + alignment + 115,000 mile service (oil and fluids, check plugs and filters) - $1135

Any of those prices look glaringly wrong to you? The local Audi dealer parts to replace all the same parts as the Febi kit, but just bushings, not control arms is about $150 more. OEM shocks from Audi are a couple hundred more than the Bilsteins.

i don't know about the S4 stuff. But I paid $700 no more than 3 months ago for my Bilstein shocks...so it sounds good to me. Nothing like a good alignment too. go for it

Can't say that the figures look 'off' per se but if you have a reputable Audi mechanic and don't go through a dealership (could find via Audizine/world) it might save you a few hundred bucks potentially.

Wow. I'm suprised not one person recommended KW suspension.

German made, extremely well made coilovers. Even their aggressive setups drive smoother than any other coilover that I have owned....and I have had everything from Bilstein to Ohlins to H&R to JIC......and I have finally found a suspension that is way too comfortable on the street, yet outperforms other coilover suspenion on the race track. Best of both worlds.....plus they aren't expensive.

It does. I'll be using the same shop that did my exhaust install on the S4.
